El Camino - Terraformic INC Mining facility
This is a sequence I really wanted to do for our Shortfilm "El Camino", I co-directed and produced this film along my good friend Fernando Campos https://www.artstation.com/win_campos and some other amazing talented friends ( link at the bottom )
This was a really challenging project in general, but I really had fun working on this sequence, from concept to final compositing I'm really happy with the result. These shots are from 2017-2018

I was designing, modeling and rendering on the fly, I started with the idea and the shapes were giving me ideas as I was making progress.

I was inspired by the Millennium Falcon flying through the Rebel fleet, I saw the opportunity here, and I pretty much built everything to make it happen.
I cannibalized spaceship models to make them look more like industrial vessels
I designed similar containers for Captain America the Winter Soldier and I re-used the idea here, the way they stack are pretty cool I think.
